Manoj Shroff grew up and matured in the world of Equinox.

Having joined as a summer trainee in 1992 he was immediately noticed for his terrific organizational abilities coupled with a strong creative bent. Soon he graduated from assisting Sumantra and Ram to becoming a director with Equinox. Between 1998 and 2002 Manoj directed over 80 commercials and built up an impressive showreel.

And then, in 2003, came a new turn in Equinox’s fortunes. Poised to expand exponentially as a production house Equinox was in critical need of someone who could give it the leadership it needed – someone who could read a director’s dreams as well as a balance sheet.

That man, by unanimous choice, was Manoj Shroff.

With his vast experience in production, post-production and direction Manoj is the director’s closest ally and the film’s keenest custodian.

He has taken Equinox to greater heights by introducing new directors, helming a series of award-winning commercials and, at the same time, opening up a new international direction to the company’s future growth.

In 2008 Manoj helmed several international productions that were produced by Equinox in India. Among these were commercials for Head & Shoulders (in partnership with Great Guns, Bangkok), Clean and Clear (directed by Eden Tyler, USA) and the 2008-2009 MetLife campaign (commissioned by IW Group, USA). This Metlife campiaign also went on to win the GOLD for the Corporate Image TV Campaign category in the US in 2009.
